Illusion

I searched for elusive peace all around,
In the world's bright lights and returned disappointed,
I caught glimpses of it in other's faith,
And experienced it briefly in  Mother Nature's Mercy,
But like trying to hold moonbeams in ones hand,
They slipped past and left me searching,
Fool was I to look for You, O all pervading One,
Not realizing that it was You that are
And i that wasn't.
