Tears, threats, refusals, tirades
Make up the daily homework crusades
Complaints " You never let me have any fun"
Threats , " You will never see your game control till the work is done"
A snack, a back rub , many a cajoling, later
Finally sit down to get to the matter
Finish up quickly, to my disbelief
Homework complete, to everyone's relief
Tomorrow there will be another battle story to tell
But until then, alls well that ends well
