On this Valentines Day,
That celebrates, love , romance or its expression in every conceivable way,
Remember why you stood there, yesterday,
To vow to love and cherish each other,
In the sight of God and all your loved ones
Remember why, when the blush of the first romance fades
Remember why, when you don't see eye to eye
And have to negotiate and re-negotiate boundaries and chores
And as your love grows and matures
Let it waft like fragrance and envelop
All that are close to you
Your future, your past, your compatriots
Your neighborhood, community, city and the world family
